Some categories are split by region so just find out which one is you and give any input for those you feel strongly about. We decided to sacrifice brevity and make this collectively exhaustive because we want voters who know enough and care enough to do this right.

Deadline is January 20, 2008. Results will be published on this site by the end of November and sent to all major media outlets except for Entheogens and Archetypes. Winners will be able to use a special logo in their promotions.

And please, for clarity's sake do NOT include Burning Man in this equation as it would gobble up everything else.

We ask for your email and name for validation, verification and notification purposes only. It will not be shared nor used for spamming; and will be kept private no matter who you might dis here. We will compile the results separately from email validation, so we will not know who voted for another website, forum, or list. You won't get "shitlisted" or anything. To prevent ballot box stuffing anyone who comes in and just votes in one category will NOT be counted, even if their email address may be different. You can vote for yourself, we won't tell.

In the U.S. section "East Coast" denotes Florida to Pennsylvania to Maine. "West Coast" denotes Washington to California. "Midwest/South" is everything in between.

At some point we may have an awards dinner with Transformer figures done up in dayglo - but for the time being we'll start small and it will be online. We may even be able to get creative for once and make a special inexpensive gift custom tailored to each award, e.g. dried appleseeds spray painted metallic gold mailed to the Johnny Appleseed winners, Geritol or Depends for the Lifetime Achievement Award.
