Time will tell, but we believe psychedelic pioneers and artists live longer, happier lives, although sometimes they get into accidents doing things like SCUBA diving and motorcycle riding.

Beka Stewart - DJ Beka d. 22/12/05- Turbo Trance Records

Onno Borgen
aka Bonky 1962-2003 of Doof Records died in a diving accident in Bali.

Simon Carman, d. 1998. Co-founder of Phantasm Records, aka Sundog and also an original member of Mindfield.  Died of Leukemia.

Dan Carpenter 1963-2005 Author

Bill Hicks
December 16, 1961 – February 26, 1994 See the player for many of his comedy routines. A cosmic irony is the fact that he was an avid smoker, and died of lung cancer. Hearing his comedy routines about smoking - such as "new York would be Oz" and "The Philosophy of..." on the Tranceam.org player in the spoken word section- is especially poignant.

Elizabeth Gips May 5, 1922 - May 27, 2001 Psychedelic grandmother in the Haight Ashbury era

Nina Graboi 1918-1999 "Dr, Ruth" of Psychedelics

Aldous Huxley July 26, 1894 – November 22, 1963 (see the player for one of his interviews and see Books)

Timothy Leary October 22, 1920 – May 31, 1996 (see the player for many of his talks) Here is my favorite book he wrote:

Wilson Leary 1966-2006 Wilson was one of my best friends. Although he was Timothy's cousin he carved out his own legacy with the infamous Moon Raves in Woodside, California in the early 90s and was an artist in his own right.

John Lilly January 6, 1915 – September 30, 2001 Ketamine pioneer, heir to the Eli Lilly fortune. Proof that old K heads eventually die too, it just may take a long time.

Avihen Livne (Cosma) 1979-2003 Producer who died in a motorcycle accident in Goa (see the player for some of his beautiful tracks)

Barry Mason 1950-2006 Founder of the Psychedelic Shaman Institute

Terence McKenna November 16, 1946 – April 3, 2000 (See DMTV for many of his videos and the player for many of his talks)

D.M. Turner October 5, 1962 - December 31, 1996 Author and Psychonaut. Do not shoot ketamine alone, in the bathtub, ever. A cautionary tale, the webmaster read about himself laying on the subway tracks screaming his website so he should know.

Victor Zolotorenk
"Zolod" (Parasense) March 11, 1981 - January 4, 2006 (see the player for some of his amazing tracks)
Parasense played under the bridge in NYC and was my favorite band in the world.
